So the new poll is for what story we'll each write our own version of. Vote!

Meanwhile, the prompt for 10/28 (only one we got to...!):
-write a poem/short prose piece using the following words: blueberry, bleeds, blunt, dirt, obvious, wind, smooth, skittish

No workshop tonight! Kellen kindly called to let me know we really won't have enough people for it tonight. Hope everyone had a good weekend...see you next Sunday.

10/14 Prompts:
-write from the POV of a stalker
-write a definition of an abstract concept that can't be summed up in a Webster's blurb (i.e. death, success)
-write from the POV of a parent trying not to hate their child

For the coming week: bring stories! and/or post them/summaries here. Fairy tales, fables, cuentos of all sorts that people can write their own take on.

Prompts for 10/7:
-write about a marriage proposal gone horribly wrong
-write from the point of view of someone escaping (music)
-write about something that you aren't allowed to talk about at the dinner table

Hey all! Assuming this works, I'll start posting prompts here and you can post your responses (under "comments"...it should work without anyone having to register, but let me know if it doesn't). Hopefully I'll also set something up so that you can share random other things you've written. Other than a brief affair with livejournal I've never done this sort of thing before, so bear with me--and feel free to give suggestions...
